Key Projects I’ve led

Enterprise Channel Convergence
I led the Design efforts pulling in 3 streams of work into a successful Refactor of the entire Nedbank Business Hub for CIB clients.
1. Existing Servicing & Onboarding
2. New initiatives to bolster the platform
3. Patterns, Principles and Delivery frameworks to support Digital Transformation
The project aimed to reduce reliance on staff and redesign self-service capabilities

Multi-Product Onboarding
I took over and managed the multi-product Onboarding squad with 3 designers, solving for complex business needs and technical mapping of user information. Using strategies like self determination theory, we walked clients through stepped onboarding journeys and self-serve maintenance for multiple products which reduced the load on call centre support by 74% in the first year.
Successfully converted from single product to multi-product onboarding capability.

Book a Rate
International currency trade—made easy. I designed screen flows allowing clients and business managers to lock in an amount at a specific time when buying foreign currency, like US Dollars (USD), Euros (EUR), or British Pounds (GBP), from the bank.

Treasurer & Global Payments
Solving for unique user needs while implementing predictive modelling, future forecasting and risk prevention capabilities, this concept POC laid the foundation treasury management functions with unique graph visualisations which became the standard at Nedbank.

Nedbank Business hub-Servicing Overhaul
From complex authorisation and custom user profile management services to document control and signing of mandates, the NBH provides a one stop shop for clients and staff. I brought responsive design to Nedbank’s dashboard experience plotting widget integration and management.

Common Back Office (Business processing)
I conducted a Service Design and UX audit of the existing systems, processes, technical inputs and Design work (which was developer-led at the time).
I convinced business a Design System was necessary and restructured the working relationship with design for quality assurance.
The end product was a complex Design System built to scale and a far easier design experience when recrafting screens. I focussed on the Home loans applications flow for demo purpose.
