My Take on CX

At the centre of our expanding digital business landscape, those who place the customer first, setting up design tools, business practices, support structures and metrics centred around the customer and their experience, will not only win the battle but will position themselves for ongoing success. Those who don’t will face extinction.

 

The survival and growth of organisations is dependent on how customers feel, perceive and talk about your brand.

It is my mission to grow a solid understanding in CX and to structure it into my work while mentoring teams on the benefits and pitfalls.

    2019 (ACXM) Accredited Customer Experience Masters Course

    The ACX certification course provides a strategic focus to professionals who will influence and be accountable for the organisational-wide customer experience maturity, culture and alignment to strategic objectives.

    Workshop Outcomes:

    • Coached by an Accredited CEMMethod® Facilitator covering levels 1 – 5 of the ACX Program
    • Certification is competency-based, evaluating competency through the practical application of the concepts during the workshop, ensuring you have the skills to deliver customer experience improvement
    • Trained on the CEMMethod® and understanding how to apply it.
      The course covers the theory of the methodology as well as many practical exercises applied to your specific business challenges.
    • Tools are introduced and utilised to ensure that the method is understood and applied At the end of the workshop, participants receive a globally recognised Certified Accredited Customer Experience (ACX) Masters from The BP Group

    MULTIPLY – Education360°

    EMPLOYED BY:   NATIVE VML 

    CLIENT: MULTIPLY (MOMENTUM)

    Objective: Grow the Largest Online Schools Database in the country and implement  gamification to encourage continued usage and keep the data up to date.

    The SchoolTool, which was part of Multiply’s Education360° offering, received national acclaim when it scooped the Bookmark Award in the category, “Excellence in Research”. (15 March 2016) 

    I got involved in Phase 2 of the project and determined the scope of work aligned closely to a 4 phase project plan over a 3 year period. Working closely with our creative director and UX teams we fleshed out what you see in the sample.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    As Senior Account Manager I drafted budgets, scope of work and determined the squad members who would facilitate the long term build.

    I managed all prototyping efforts within pre-execution phase and assisted UX and UI designers with modelling the final products and showcasing them through InVision to client.

    I reviewed work, made adjustment and ultimately approved the content with the Creative Director.

    Multiply.co.za | Full Brand Re-launch onto as a stand-alone brand

    As Senior Account Manager I managed various internal teams (UI, UX, Strategy and Social media) in the fulfillment of Momentum’s daily digital needs.

    Highlights:
    In 2017, I was part of a team of three who Delivered the supporting digital business strategy for Momentum to split Multiply into a separate website and assisted Momentum’s digital department to re-brand and re-craft all content under an intensly pressured deadline.

    Responsible for output:

    Full Website Design – Managed and helped craft the layouts, HTML and CI
    UX Design – Worked directly with the UX designer to build the optimal flows and screens
    Strategy – Further developing the initial plans and fleshing out the Reason and logic to fulfil this major shift for Momentum to decouple their rewards program, similar to how Discovery Health have managed their Vitality scheme. 
    Content: Total overhaul of pre-existing graphic content

    As Head of Digital Innovation and Marketing at Stringfellow Investment Specialists I was responsible for all content output whether internal or external-facing and across all channels.

    Stringfellow required a full brand overhaul and new marketing strategies when I joined, implemented across channel with a mobile first approach to grow databases and business. I played an active role in strategic direction, content design & creation, front-end web development and campaign management through various channels.

    At Stringfellow we identified the commonalities related to customer purchase paths and strategically built our campaign content to meet the individual at the point of highest purchase intent. All design efforts were structured to enhance the customer experience and we achieved great success with a limited budget.

    Strategy | UI Design | UX Design | Technology Innovation | Social Media campaign design and management | Email Marketing (Internal database and External) |  Testing | Tracking | Reporting | Team Mentorship 

     

    Highlights:

    Stringfellow had the following stand-out results in 2018:

    • Stringfellow Capital was born and facilitated several institutional projects. I was part of the growth team since inception and managed all marketing collateral  
    • Stringfellow Advisory Services tripled its advisor base from digital leads linked to campaigns such as the example on this page.  This meant an increase of 74% in Assets Under Management to approx. R1 Billion over the period 
    • Incorporated Video and Podcasting channels and worked on Financial Advisor personal profiles  
    • Managed external agencies – AdWords and database growth strategies yielding successful results
    • I managed Stringfellow’s website migration and integrated performance enhancements = 59% performance improvement 
    • Increased New website users by 372% and grew our returning user base 
    • Page views were up by 258.36% 
    • Increased website conversions by 47.19% from previous year
